Now we're bloggers too.

I want to dedicate our family's first blog to my husband, Craig. Many of you are aware that Craig's promotion has us moving back to Arizona and that he went there in February ahead of our two children and me. In fact, as I sit here typing, Craig is on a plane to Texas. He's going to help organize two events for his company over the next few days in San Antonio and then in Austin.

Time apart has been difficult for all of us, but we have faith that God's plan is better than we can imagine. Craig is so patient with the way God works in our lives and is open to any changes He has in store for us. My husband is an encouragement to me. So in an effort to being open to all things new, I am starting our family blog. Surprise, honey!

On that note, here I go. . .

I remember the day I got my first cell phone. By the time I had gone to bed that night, I found myself wondering if the purchase was really necessary, but I had already began to wonder how I ever survived without the little contraption. To no surprise, I now find my cell phone to be a vital part of my existence. I suppose that's why I had put off getting one for so long and why I still have my original cell phone number to this very day. I'm sure that if it wasn't for Craig, I'd still have that first cell phone too! My caring hubby who adores all things techo-gadget gets me an updated phone every other year. Oh, how I hate getting to know the new one, but I'm learning that change is good.

So here I am starting our family's blog. (Wow, something new that I wasn't forced to do!) How will we incorporate this digital family newspaper into our lives? Fact of the matter is, there is no denying that blogs are a fast and fabulous way of keeping in touch with all of those we love. I've enjoyed knowing how so many of you are doing by reading your blogs and thought it was time for us to do the same. So bloggers we are. Be patient with us as we learn the ropes.

God bless!
